RADHAA WOMEN GROW

When women lead, resilience compounds.

A women-centred programme for climate leadership, producer capability, skills, knowledge exchange and responsible rural livelihood pathways.

WHO IT IS FOR

Women farmers, SHGs, rural leaders and producer groups

CORE APPROACH

Recognize work, strengthen voice and build practical pathways

EVIDENCE

Participation, leadership, skills and livelihood signals with consent

01

Producers and decision-makers

Women’s agricultural work, resource knowledge and household decision-making are central to rural resilience. The programme begins by recognizing those roles rather than treating women as a beneficiary category.

02

Leadership pathways

Women farmers and SHG leaders can take roles in local learning, programme design, facilitation, field coordination and climate action. Leadership should be visible in responsibility, not only attendance.

03

SHG and collective pathways

Existing groups may provide a foundation for peer learning, producer activity and local coordination. Any partnership must respect the group’s own purpose, governance and capacity.

04

Skills and market readiness

Programme activities may strengthen practical skills, quality understanding, collective learning and responsible partner connections. Market access or income outcomes are never guaranteed in advance.

05

Climate-linked livelihoods

Opportunities are explored where climate resilience and rural livelihoods genuinely connect—for example through producer activity, local services, knowledge roles or stewardship work.

06

Safeguarding, time and access

Programme design should consider safety, mobility, care responsibilities, timing, language, digital access and the risk of increasing unpaid work. Consent and participation choices must remain meaningful.

07

Outcome framework

RADHAA intends to track participation, leadership roles, skills, producer activity and livelihood signals with clear definitions, consent and evidence status.
