Baselines
A baseline should define the starting point and the decision it needs to support before selecting a metric. Useful evidence is proportionate to programme risk, scale and purpose.
Field data model
Every number should retain a definition, source, reporting period, geography, status and last-verified date. People, land, activities and outcomes remain separate data concepts.
Verification status
Targets, reported figures and verified results are visually and conceptually distinct. A number does not become verified simply because it appears in a dashboard.
Dashboards and reports
Public views will be added as responsible data becomes available. Empty spaces are labelled in development rather than filled with invented charts or placeholder impact.
Farmer stories and qualitative evidence
Consent-controlled stories add experience and meaning. They complement quantitative signals but do not substitute for defined indicators or wider evidence.
Data responsibility
Sensitive identifiers, exact personal addresses, financial details and raw geolocation are not public evidence. Collection and access should remain purpose-limited and proportionate.
Research partnerships
Partners can contribute methodology, ethics, analysis, field tools, verification or learning design when the work remains useful to communities and understandable to non-specialists.
