Demonstration logic
A Climate Farm begins with a locally relevant risk or decision. The demonstration design should make the question and comparison clear enough for farmers and partners to understand.
Compare practices responsibly
Observation can help reveal differences, but it does not automatically prove causation. Weather, soil, management, crop variety and other conditions must be documented where relevant.
Farmer field days
Field days turn demonstration into conversation. Farmers, women leaders, Climate Saathis, researchers and local institutions can observe, question and discuss whether an approach is useful.
Crop, soil and water evidence
Records may include practice, crop stage, field observations, soil or water information and farmer interpretation. The method and reporting period should travel with every published result.
Learning across a season
One visit rarely explains a farm system. Repeated observation can show how conditions and decisions change through the season and where further investigation is needed.
Replication packs
Reviewed learning can be translated into a practical pack describing the local problem, practice, inputs, steps, observations, limitations, costs where appropriate and adaptation questions.
Host or support a Climate Farm
Partners can propose a geography, field question or technical contribution. Host selection, consent, responsibilities and evidence design must be agreed before public claims are made.
